Welcome to the first stage of enrolling at Woodstock School.

Before completing this enrolment, please check the Woodstock School zone to ensure you are eligible to enrol. You must be living in-zone on the first day your child attends school. Evidence of a current in-zone address needs to be provided and an Enrolment Declaration signed at the end of this enrolment form.

The Ministry of Education has advised that parents should be warned of the possible consequences of deliberately attempting to gain unfair priority in enrolment by knowingly giving a false address or making an in-zone living arrangement which they intend to be only temporary. It is a crime to make a False Declaration.

For example:

  • Renting accommodation in-zone on a short term basis
  • Arranging temporary board in-zone with a relative or family friend
  • Using the in-zone address of a relative or family friend as an "address of convenience", with no intention to live there on an ongoing basis

If the school learns that a student is no longer at the in-zone address given at the time of application for enrolment and has reasonable grounds to believe that a temporary in-zone residence has been used for the purpose of unfairly gaining priority in enrolment at the school, the Board of Trustees will review the enrolment. Unless the parents can give a satisfactory explanation within 10 days, the Board may annul the enrolment. This course of action is provided for under Sections 12 and 13 of Schedule 20 of the Education and Training Act 2020. 

The school retains the right to make inquiries necessary in its opinion to obtain information that may assist it to reach a decision in any particular case. This could include a home visit.


This is a provisional enrolment form based on the following supporting documents being provided to the school:

  1. Proof of Identity and Eligibility - NZ Birth Certificate or NZ Passport, OR Residency Documentation and Passport if the student was born overseas. (Other passport with a NZ Residence Visa or Australian passport, or NZ Student Visa and Parental Work Visa). 
  2. Immunisation details - Plunket Book immunisation page copy or certificate from the Doctor.
  3. Proof of in-zone permanent address - must be current - less than two months of child's start date - that shows your (Parent/Caregiver) name and address. We accept an electricity account, rates account or tenancy agreement.
  4. Copy of Custody/Access Orders (if applicable).
  5. Details of any Learning or Behavioural needs that would help the school support your child (if applicable).
  6. Emergency Contacts - please supply at least two emergency contacts. (This must be completed to be fully enrolled).
